Monday - Thursday (6:30 am - 6:00 pm)
GBCS follows the Wilkes County School calendar as closely as possible.
6:30 - 7:30 am (before school care)
7:30 - 8:00 am (drop off time for school-age students)
8:00 - 3:20 pm (regular school hours) Monday-Thursday Off on Friday
3:20 - 3:35 pm (pick up time for school-age students)
3:35 - 6:00 pm (after school care)

Curriculum
Our curriculum is individualized and addresses the learning needs of each child at the child's developmental level. Preschool children use the curriculum from the age of 2 years, but are not charged for books and materials until they are in the K-4 program. Books generally cost between $125 and $150 per academic year.

Registration Fee $125.00 (due upon acceptance of application)
Testing Fee $100.00

Snacks and Meals
Snacks are provided two to three times daily. Parents may choose to pack snacks for their child providing the snack is nutritious. Soft drinks are acceptable only for birthday parties or other celebrations and must be pre-approved through the school principal.

Lunch is catered or parents may choose to pack their child's lunch, again providing the lunch is well balanced & nutritious by NC State standards. GBCS provides milk and condiments for meals or snacks. Cost of lunch is $2.50 per day and due on the first day of each week.

Tuition is also expected to be paid in advance - no later than the Monday of the week in which tuition is owed.

The following items will be needed if/when you child is accepted to GBCS.
Completed Child Medical Exam report.
Copy of the Child's Immunization record.
Copy of the Child's birth certificate.
Copy of the Child's Social Security card.
